Utah Maternity Photographer

Hands down the best part of my job is the opportunity I get to be a part of peoples most special moments. I had the pleasure of capturing Michael and Carleigh’s wedding day a few years back. So the chance to witness and get beautiful maternity pictures for them was such a highlight for me. We rented the beautiful The Loft Studio in Lehi Utah.  It was the perfect backdrop for this session and for a utah maternity photographer. Not to mention this beautiful floral installation that was at the studio when we arrived.

What to Wear to a Maternity Session

Carleigh absolutely nailed her outfits for this maternity session. As a utah maternity photographer I have seen many outfits over the years and I can tell you, what you wear makes a huge difference. I will always always suggest you wear neutrals. Avoid bright colors or patterns. The simpler the better. Also make sure you are wearing something you feel comfortable in. Those last few months of pregnancy can be so tough on mommas and I know we don’t always feel our best in clothes anymore so find what fits the most comfortable and rock it. The more comfortable we feel the more confident we will show up in our images.

Carleigh brought this fun $5 bouquet of flowers with her to her maternity session and it was so worth it. It gave her something to do with her hands and we had fun playing around with different shadows and pictures of her cute bump. I am genuinely so excited for Carleigh and Michael and cannot wait to meet their newest addition to their family!
