Big Cottonwood Canyon | Ana + Jacob’s Bridal Session

Big Cottonwood Canyon | Ana + Jacob’s Bridal Session

We headed up big cottonwood canyon to find gorgeous snow covered trees. When I had talked with Ana about where she wanted her bridal portraits taken, she mentioned snow and pine trees. When we arrived at Jordan Pines it began slightly snowing, it couldn’t be more romantic. Ana was dressed in a gorgeous gown from Cocomelody. When Jacob turned around to see his sweet bride, he instantly had a huge smile on his face! And can you blame him? She looked absolutely stunning! After a fun and sweet first look we began to capture the rest of their bridal portraits. The snow fell softly the entire time and we couldn’t have been happier with how it all turned out!

Ana also wore a gorgeous cathedral length veil! And she bought it from amazon! Isn’t that amazing! It turned her already amazing portraits into jaw dropping portraits. If you have ever considered if you should get a veil for your bridal portraits let these be a perfect example of why you should ABSOLUTELY get a veil! A lot of brides choose to only wear a veil for bridal portraits and choose to not have the hassle of one on their wedding day! It is totally up to you! I just have to take a moment to point out that the clump of snow falling is in the shape of a heart! When I saw that on the back of my camera I about screamed! I just thought that was really cute and perfect for what were trying to capture!

I also thought that this moment of Jacob capturing a picture of his soon to be wife on his phone was too sweet not to get a picture of! One of my favorite parts of this job is watching these couples just so completely in love!
